Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th December 1991. James is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. The father of Manny James is Nigerian as is his mother, who is caucasian American. His father is Nigerian, and his mother is caucasian american. He was a graduate of Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2015. James was first known for his part as The Bachelorette's reality star. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in the year 2021. The following Bachelor was James. He was the first African American to play the main character. James seemed to be the perfect match for the role as his attractive, well-rounded and large-bodied personality. Rachael Krakconnell, whom was his girlfriend throughout the season. In the following year, 2021, he was paired with the famous dancer Arnold for season 30 Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th on the show.
